Katie Luna has been a nurse since 2012 and has spent the past five years serving as a Marketing Director in skilled nursing, where she discovered a deep love for caring for seniors and their families. Her passion for creating meaningful connections and making a difference in the lives of others inspired her to open Silver Moon Senior Living—a place where residents are treated like family and compassionate care feels like home.
Katie also has an entrepreneurial spirit! She previously owned a bakery and loves spending time in the kitchen creating sweet treats. Her love for business and empowering others led her to co-found Trending Women, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and celebrating women in business.
Outside of work, Katie is a proud mom to three grown children—Nick, Alex, and Olivia—and has been married to her high school sweetheart, Jacob, for 25 years.
For Katie, Silver Moon is more than a business. It's an opportunity to combine her love for nursing, family, and hospitality to create a home where seniors feel genuinely loved, valued, and cared for.
RN Consultant
Kelsey Brown brings seven years of Director of Nursing experience to her role as RN Consultant with Silver Moon Senior Living. Her career has been recognized with honors including Director of Nursing of the Year and Best Annual Survey, along with a proven history of helping struggling communities improve clinical outcomes and achieve 4- and 5-Star Overall CMS ratings.
Kelsey has a strong passion for the geriatric population and is committed to supporting nursing teams, strengthening clinical operations, and ensuring residents receive exceptional, compassionate care.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find Kelsey on a field cheering on her kids at their sporting events or traveling and making memories with her husband and family
Media Marketing & Technology Coordinator
Olivia Luna brings a fresh perspective, creativity, and a genuine love for connecting with people to Silver Moon Senior Living. As a licensed cosmetologist with two years of experience in client relations and consultations, Olivia understands the importance of building meaningful relationships and making others feel valued.
Her passion for working with seniors began while providing hairstyling services to residents at Emerald Hills Nursing Home, where she enjoyed getting to know residents and hearing their stories. Now, as part of the Silver Moon family business, Olivia combines her people skills with her interest in technology and marketing, managing social media, website content, and technology to help keep families connected and informed.
Outside of work, Olivia is a proud dog mom to two Cane Corsos and is excitedly planning her 2027 wedding!
